Get to Know Me
I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) helping individuals and families with their mental health and relationship issues. With a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, I offer caring support and promote healing through a client-focused method. My knowledge of Communication Theory and Systems Theory has also shaped my therapy style.
I started therapy because I believe in the importance of connection and communication. I believe we all have the inner knowledge to understand ourselves and what is best for us. Though traumatic events can obscure this, our true selves and wisdom remain intact.
I have trained in different therapy methods, like Trauma Certification (CCPT I), Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman, Narrative Therapy, EMDR, and Solution Focused therapy. I know each client is unique, so I adapt my approach to fit your needs and goals.
I aim to create a safe and welcoming space for open conversations and self-discovery. I believe everyone can grow, change, and heal. Sometimes, our coping skills can hold us back and make us lose sight of who we are. I'm here to help you get “unstuck” and find your own path as the leader and healer of your life.
When not in a therapy session, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, dogs, exploring nature, and expressing my creativty with painting. I value self-care and strive to model a balanced lifestyle, reinforcing the importance of personal well-being in the therapeutic process.
As I continue my path as a therapist, I remain committed to empowering clients, helping them build stronger relationships, improve their mental health, and embrace their authentic selves.
